An exhibit that showcases the recent trends in textile use of artists, designers and manufacturers, working in Japan. The combination of ancestral techniques and advanced technology and tools are evident in the collection. The exhibit is organized into six categories or themes that help describe the predominant characteristic of each: “Transparent”, “Dyed”, “Reflective”, “Printed”, “Sculpted” and “Layered”.
