Located along the Mississippi River waterfront, this proposed mixed-use complex is comprised of residential, hotel, office, commercial/retail spaces and an art museum. The new development would reinvigorate the underserved area, which had been previously occupied by a municipal jail, and restore the community’s visual and physical access to the waterfront. The building incorporates a number of sustainable strategies to generate a portion of the building’s energy demand and to maximize daylighting and natural ventilation.
