The newly renovated facility provides classroom and office space for Pembroke Hall, a historic building on the Brown University campus. The renovation approaches the historical building without mimcry, using a minimal material palette and clean massing. The contrast between the new offices and the detailed brick envelope is respectful of the historic building while demonstrating the new institutional vision of the university.
